As a company we strive to create a workplace that is friendly, encourages growth, and has a respect for our employees both in and out of the office. From this stems a great deal of work ethic and willingness by our amazing team members to make Brown Homes the best it can be – we would not be who we are today without each and every one of them! As we continue the Meet Our Team series, it never fails to surprise us how great our team members really are.

In this installment, we are highlighting Ashley Galgano, aka “The Oracle”!

Hi Ashley, thank you so much for sitting down with me today to share a little bit more about yourself. To start off, describe your role here at Brown Homes and what experience you bring to the company.

Thanks for having me! I have been with Brown Homes for two and a half years and currently split my time between two roles. The first is managing all of our architectural documents and the second is a purchasing agent for our communities within the Phoenix Metro market. My background is leading customer service teams and customer-facing roles in fast-paced industries. Having a customer service background brings a unique perspective to both of my roles, and it is always in the back of my mind that we a here because of the customer.

Yes, keeping the customer in mind is always a priority and makes our work feel like we have a genuine purpose! Alongside that, what do you enjoy most about working at Brown Homes?

I have two things that I equally enjoy about my work, the first being that both my roles fulfill my curious mind. Every day is slightly different from the last and I am constantly learning something new. I always think of the quote from Albert Einstein, “I have no special talents. I’m only passionately curious” because this is me to a tee. The second, after months of looking at a home on paper, is being able to walk through a completed home and seeing all the details come to life. It’s a surreal feeling knowing that you played such a big part in creating a customer’s dream home.

It really is a crazy thing knowing that the homes we are building will be places where a ton of memories are made for those who are living in them. Here is a more random question, if you could travel back in time, what year would you travel to?

Egypt – 2550 BCE to see “who” really built the pyramids.

That would be amazing to discover! If you had a spirit animal, what do you think you would be?

Probably a dolphin, since they sleep with half their brain awake!

I had no idea that was even possible, we practically live on this earth among creatures that have real life superpowers. Finally, what do you most look forward to in the future with Brown Homes?

I look forward to continuing to be a part of our customers’ homebuying journey, and to experiencing the future growth of the company.
